A 2- year- old female
nile crocodile (Crocodylus niloticus) was presented to Animal Hospital Clinic with inapetence and weakness for two weeks.
The history of crocodile was that she lived in vivarium with heating apparatus.
The result of
clinic, laboratory and radiological examinatin; there were giving opacity
forgein bodies in stomach. We suggested that the forgein bodies would have been
removed in general anesthesia.Gastrotomy
was performed with midline laparotomy and removed plastic aquarium plants,
plastic glass adhesive disc from stomach. Stomach was sutured with 3/0
polyglactin 910 according to surgical tecnique. Abdominal muscles closed with a
simple separate suture tecnique. The skin was closed with a simple separate
suture tecnique.
